Guilsborough Volunteer Group

During these times of many people having to self isolate, we’re very fortunate to have a group of volunteers willing to help with what ever they can, be it getting shopping, picking up a take-away or maybe just someone to talk to. You should have received information of how you can access this help posted through your letter boxes but if not, it’s all being coordinated by Amanda Miller and she can be reached, preferably by text message, on 07508 058 998.

It may be though that you need a bit more than this. Maybe you’re starting to struggle emotionally or financially and you’d rather talk to someone outside of the village. Someone you don’t have personal contact with. There’s help out there, you just need to reach out for it.

The local NCC support line is 0300 126 1000 (option 5).

There’s also help to be found through the Red Cross.

If you have money worries you can call 0808 802 2000.

If you need support at home, maybe you can’t get out to buy food even if you could afford to, then call 0345 0547 171 followed by option 0 to talk to someone.
